Text Box:    MellowD Music and Dena and Debi are proud to present to you our newest roadshow production  "Giddyup Gospel" a  family entertainment Variety  Show Comedy, CountryMusic, and Gospel.  It kicks off at the Alvin Opry House in Alvin Texas   Nov 9 , 2008  and again on Nov 30 from 6-8:30pm.   Come Join Us in the Fun and Excitement (see flyer for info under the Bareback Album Cover on this page)                                      The sisters Dena and Debi Jones have been singing together all their lives. Daughters of a preacher, and family members of the singing King family, they grew up singing Gospel in churches and the many different church functions all over the U.S. at a very early age.  Dena and Debi began writing their own songs when they began their professional music careers in the '90's. They began with Gospel and proceeded to be just as popular in the Country and Pop scene.  Their venues have included Country Music Shows, Opry’s, Night Clubs, private and corporate functions and events all across our nation.   They have performed and opened on stages from the "Johnny High County Music Revue" to the "South Texas Opry" for several upcoming stars among them, Miss Leann Rhimes. In the Corpus Christi area, They worked closely with the Naval Air Station supporting and entertaining our troops.  Since the girls were quite popular among the locals, they played at many of the Clubs and Taverns in the city and surrounding area. They are currently performing around Texas where their album “Bareback” is quite popular.  In April, Dena and Debi received the honor of being inducted into the Texas Music Hall of Fame at the Gatesville Jamboree.  The reception was outstanding and their performance was superb. A special thanks goes out to the musicians of the  band.  Their  experience with the GREATS goes back to the era of Elvis to Bo Diddley to Buck Owens and many more.
